The 61st annual yacht race in the vast Aegean Sea, Aegean Rally 2024 will take place on the capital of the Cyclades, the island of Syros, showcasing innovative sailing techniques and dedicated crews from the 20th to the 29th of July!
Organized by the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club and in direct cooperation with the Hellenic Navy, the Aegean Rally is a series of long-distance yacht races, the total length of which is usually between 350 and 500 nautical miles! Some of the finest sea-racing crews of Greece will battle head-to-head to achieve the best possible results, while the viewers will witness an intense battle between crews and the endless blue sea!
Once a strictly racing event, this collection of races has evolved through the years to become a grand celebration of sailing and Greece’s maritime history! Moreover, since its inception in 1963, the Aegean Rally allows sea lovers and casual attendants to enjoy the beauty of the Greek islands, given that it often includes extended visits to one or multiple areas of the Aegean Sea each year!
