13th Annual International Festival of the Aegean

One of the most acclaimed Greek festivals, the International Festival of the Aegean, returns this summer for the 13th year in a row to celebrate music and arts. Established in 2005, the Syros-based festival quickly attained the international interest, attracting distinguished artists from the fields of music, theatre and dance from all over the world.
This year, from 16 to 31 July, the cosmopolitan town of Hermoupolis will welcome renowned music schemes, dancing companies, actors and directors, in a program that will please even the most demanding. Famous ballet choreographies, classical music concerts, special master classes and pre-festival events compose an alluring program that will travel the audience into the mesmerizing world of art. The events will take place at the notorious Apollo Theatre, Miaouli Square and the church of St. Nicholas, while certain performances have free admission.
