Location: On the western side of the island
Description: Chora, or else Ios Town, is actually the only village on the island. Built amphitheatrically on the slopes of a hill, Chora provides gorgeous view to the sea. Chora and the beaches around it are the centres of activities on Ios.

Ormos

Location: 2 km east of Chora
Description: Ormos is the main port of the island, where ferries moor when they come to Ios. It has some tourist facilities around and it is close to popular beaches.
