New ferry runs from Piraeus to Crete

• Category: News
Attica Group has decided to enter the ferry competition for good, as it issued an announcement that from this spring its ferry Superfast XII will run the line Piraeus-Heraklion. Till present, only two ferry companies, Anek and Minoan Lines, were running ferries to and from Crete. However, Attica has decided to get profited from the big traffic that is pointed out to Crete. In particular, it has been established that about 2,000 to 3,000 passengers and 250-350 lorries are carried every day from Piraeus to Crete, which is indeed a great challenge for a ferry company to take some pieces of the pie. The result will certainly benefit the passengers as the three companies will focus on quality of services and good prices to attract more clients.
