Matala Beach Festival 2019

Matala Beach Festival is undoubtedly one of the top hippie festivals in Europe and a pole of attraction for both local and foreign visitors.
It has been organized since 2011 in Matala, a small town in south Crete. Matala became famous during the '60s and the '70s. Back then, the "children of the flowers" used to live in beach caves, away from the crowds, enjoying the peaceful setting.
Today, the festival is all about music, as many Greek and foreign artists perform for three days. The best part? The entrance to Matala Beach Festival is free!
