Matala Beach Festival 2014

This is the 4th year that the unique Matala Beach Festival is being organized on the fantastic sandy beach of Matala, in southern Crete. This recently-established festival has managed to attract until now more than 100,000 fans of music and has been marked as the ultimate meeting of the hippies who resided in the caves of Matala in the 1960s and 1970s.

Starting from today until Sunday, June 22nd, Matala Beach Festival 2014 includes all day beach parties with DJs and radio producers, as well as special tributes to Santana, The Doors, The Beatles, The Police, Muse and Bob Marley. In the evenings, there will be musical performances of popular Greek and foreign music bands. Entrance to the concerts and camping on the beach is free.
