Photo Exhibition about the Old Crete

An exhibition with photos of Pericles Diamantopoulos is currently being held in the room of the Literary Association "Chrisostomos" in Chania town. The exhibition refers to the town and the region of Chania, as it looked like in the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Through these photos, visitors can get a view of the Cretan landscape about a century ago and of events that marked the history of the island. During the inauguration of the exhibition, the president of "Chrisostomos" congratulated Mr Diamantopoulos on his excellent, qualitative work and expressed his wish that a Photo Museum will be created in Chania soon. The exhibition will last till the end of January.
