To Artopolion is a small bakery in the graphic alleyways of the Old Town of Chania, next to the Venetian Port and right across from the Byzantine Walls. Even though it is small in size, Artopolion makes up for it with its unique tastes and friendly service!
This bakery intends to help visitors familiarize themselves with the local cuisine and products by meshing tradition with modern recipes. You can find a variety of handmade pies and sandwiches for a healthy Cretan breakfast, with each of the products being made with local ingredients. A specialty of Artopolion is its unique Cretan Croque Madame, made with apaki, a local cured meat, and mizithra cheese!
The bakery also boasts some small tables and high chairs on the outside, so you can enjoy your breakfast, while gazing upon some of Chania’s most important landmarks, under the Greek Sun!
