Guns N' Roses Live in Athens

The legendary Los Angeles-based hard rock band Guns N’ Roses is returning to Greece for the first time since 2006, ready for one more high-energy live show in Athens.

Forming in 1985, Guns N' Roses shook the music world with their magnum-opus debut album Appetite For Destruction in 1987 (with timeless hits such as Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child O’ Mine), placing themselves at the forefront of hard rock. Ever since then, the group has released five more full-length LPs, with the standouts Use Your Illusion I & Use Your Illusion II in 1991 boosting their fame even more into the stratosphere.

This renowned act has gone through various internal turmoil, including key members Slash and Duff McKagan departing from the band in 1996 and 1997, both of which rejoined the group in 2016. After 2016, Guns N' Roses have had a core of seven on-stage members, with founding member and frontman Axl Rose being present since day one, and they have embarked on two more tours, with Not In This Lifetime… tour selling over five million tickets worldwide.

This long-awaited performance will take place at the Olympic Stadium of Athens on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023, as part of their 2023 World Tour. Guns N’ Roses, this international powerhouse of a band, have visited Greece twice in the past, namely in the years 1993 and 2006, the latter as part of the annual Rockwave Festival.
