Exhibition in Alex Mylonas Museum

The Museum of Alex Mylonas-Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art proudly presents the exhibition entitled Constructing Memory through the Moving Image by the contemporary artist Pantelis Makkas. The exhibition itself is curated by Denys Zacharopoulos and it is included in the program of the 3rd Biennale 2011 Monodrome (22 October-12 December 2011). The upcoming exhibition constitutes the first presentation of artistic research in Greece, involving the coexistence of scientific research and artistic creation.

In his work, Pantelis Makkas deals with the rapid changes that occur in our lives as well as the urban setting around us and the strong influence it has in our existence. The exhibition will take place from September 14th to November 20th 2011 and the official opening will be held on Friday, September 23rd, at 20:00. The Museum of Alex Mylonas- Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art is located in Thissio Athens.
