 Travel to Mesolongi by
car
The distance between Athens and Mesolongi is 250 km and roughly takes a 3 hours drive.
First you take the
National Road to Korinthos and you turn right on the junction to the National Road to
Patras. When you reach Rio, you can either cross the bridge to Antirrio (there is a fee
of 11 euros) or take the ferry to Antirrio (which costs about 5 euros). From Antirio Mesolongi is at a distance of 36 km west.

Travel to Mesolongi by
bus
You can take the suburban bus (KTEL) to Mesolongi from the Kifissou KTEL Bus
Terminal in Athens (tel. +30 210 5124910). The trip to Mesolongi takes about 3.5 hours.
Busses from Athens to Mesolongi depart hourly.
Several busses connect daily Messolongi to other important locations and villages like
Patras, Astakos, Nafpaktos, Agrinio, Kryoneri, Galatas, Kato Vasiliki. For more

Travel to Mesolongi by
train and bus
Another alternative is to take the train from Athens to Patras (the trip takes about 3.5
hours) and from there continue by bus to Mesolongi.
Busses ply from Patras to Mesolongi about every 1 hour.
