Delphi is among the most popular ancient sites in Greece. Located on top of a hill overlooking a valley of olive groves, Delphi was a famous oracle in the antiquity, where people from all over the Meditteranean would come to seek for the prophecy of god Apollo.

This temple was dedicated to Apollo, the god of light and music. Inside the temple, there was the oracle of Apollo, where high priestess Pythia would give her prophecies.
Located next to the ancient site, the Archaeological Museum of Delphi hosts findings from the site and the region, including marble statues, coins, golden jewelry and others. The msot famous exhibits are the Charioteer and the Sphinx.
The ancient theatre is located next to the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. It dates from the 4th century BC and was constructed with limestone from Mount Parnassos. In summer, it hosts ancient plays and cultural events.
Located on the highest spot of the hill, the Ancient Stadium of Delphi used to host the Pythian Games and other events of the oracle.
The Sanctuary of Athena Pronea, which includes the famous Tholos, is located on the southern side of Delphi, next to the Gymnasium. It was the first sanctuary the could be seen from people coming to Delphi from the east.
