This is the only museum of Skiathos, located in the heart of the capital.
The museum used to be the house of the Greek poet and writer Alexandros Papadiamantis who lived from the middle of the 19th till the early of the 20th century. He is one of the most important literature figures in Greece and his works depicted the local life and traditions.

This small museum exposes an interesting collection depicting the the life of this famous writer and also life on Skiathos about a century ago.
The museum can be found in Skiathos Town, in one of the narrow streets. It has typical architecture and two floors.
