Aegina Fistiki Festival 2015

Important artists who are getting inspired by Aegina, ceramists who have moved permanently to the island and internationally acclaimed chefs are joining the 7th Fistiki Festival that is taking place from September 24th to 27th, 2015. The core of this Festival is the trade fair that will be set up along the Port Promenade of Aegina Town, where visitors will find freshly-cut fistiki (peanut) of Aegina, the traditional product of the island, fistiki spoon sweet, fistiki liqueurs, cosmetics from fistiki oil as well as other local products, such as cheese, spices and ceramics.
Apart from presenting this famous local product, Aegina Fistiki Festival also aims to promote the culture and special character of the island. In particular, visitors will have the chance to see a photo exhibition of awarded photographer Giannis Mailis, a painting exhibition entitled The kafenions, a ceramic exhibition at the fish market of Aegina and other pieces exhibited in shops at the streets of the Town. Parallel events are including musical concerts, workshops, theatrical performances and more.
