 The Church of Holy Trinity in Kyparissia Peloponnese, Greece: The church of Holy Trinity (Agia Triada) is located in the Upper Town of Kyparissia, which is actually the old part of the town. It is considered the protector of the town and celebrates every year 40 days after Easter, on the day of the Holy Spirit.
In fact, a large religious festival that lasts for three days takes place for its celebration. The icon of the Holy Trinity is moved to the Church of Agios Athanasios, in the lower part of the town, and a traditional panigiri takes places in the Square of Arkadia, Upper Town, with traditional music, dancing and food. |
