Fava beach Halkidiki: The tiny beach of Fava is located close to Vourvourou, a popular tourist resort in the peninsula of Sithonia with an incredible landscape of forested mountains.

The beach is surrounded by greenery and has some of the most amazing rock formations. The clear waters are ideal for swimming and they are shallow enough to swim up to the weird rock islands that are scattered just about 100 m from the shore.

There are plenty of opportunities for sightseeing in the surrounding area. Some of the trips that promise a fabulous experience include a visit to the resort of Vourvourou and its fabulous beaches, or a trek up the Itamos Mountain to enjoy the best views of the bay, or a boat ride to the islands of Vourvourou just across the bay.
