The island of Meganisi doesn't have an airport. The closest airport is situated on Aktion, close to Preveza.

The airport of Aktion receives mainly domestic flights from Athens and some charter flights from European cities.

If you arrive in Aktion, you can get a taxi/ bus to go to Lefkada town, which is about 30 minutes drive away. Then, you go to Nydri, another 30 minutes drive from Lefkada town. From Nydri, there is a regular ferry that goes to Meganisi and the trip takes about 20 minutes.

Otherwise, you can arrive in Athens International Airport, which receives flights from all over the world. Then you take the bus to Lefkada town (about 7 hours), from Lefkada you go to Nydri (by bus or taxi) and then to Meganisi by boat.
