Located near the church of Agios Spyridon in the capital of Lefkada, the folklore museum was founded by the musical association of the island called “Orpheus” and exhibits a rich collection of old photographs, maps, dolls, traditional costumes, hand-woven items, house utensils, models of a windmill and a traditional olive press.
A room of the museum has been turned into a representation of a traditional Lefkadian room, with all kinds of old every day utensils. |
