Kefalonia Mounda beach

General information

Mounda Beach in Kefalonia is a sandy seashore with plenty of golden-colored coarse sand and clear blue shallow waters, making it an ideal visit for families with children! It also is an excellent destination for kitesurfing and windsurfing, all due to its lengthy seashore and frothy waves! Mounda is the sister seashore of Kaminia Beach, located on the southeastern side of Kefalonia Island, near Skala village.

Part of the Natura 2000 Blue Flag beach shores, Mounda is partly-organized, featuring a selection of sunbeds and sun umbrellas to rent, as well as a lively snack bar and a tavern, ideal for all types of drinks, cocktails, snacks, and seaside meals! In spite of the installed facilities, Mounda remains a mostly unspoilt beach, attracting an abundance of naturists, too! Plus, you may also find populations of the Caretta - Caretta sea turtle, as well as these lovely sea turtles hatching their eggs!
