General information

The shore of Koutsoupia is a secluded beach located on the eastern side of the island. It is covered in white sand and pebbles, and its crystal-clear azure waters are fairly deep. It is surrounded by lush vegetation, where it also got its name from, as koutsoupia is the Greek name of the Judas tree.

The beach is not organized, so visitors will not find sunbeds or umbrellas to rent, and natural shade is also scarce. However, there is a small canteen that serves snacks and drinks on tables under the trees. The easiest way to access it is by boat, so many cruises and tours stop by for a refreshing swim. Additionally, there is a hiking trail that one can follow between Antisamos and Poros. It is quite a long route but relatively easy to walk.
