Kefalonia Kimilia beach

General information

The beach of Kimilia in Kefalonia is located in the northern part of the island, very close to Fiscardo. It is quite secluded and provides a serene atmosphere encompassed by a lush forest. It showcases an interesting geomorphology, as most of the shore is covered in flat, white rocks, while pebbles can only be found in a small area. Its waters are crystal-clear and turquoise and are recommended for snorkeling.

The beach is not organized, so visitors will not find any facilities. To reach it, one has to drive until a point and then hike for about ten minutes through a magnificent path of cypresses and olive trees. Additionally, another woodland path connects Kimilia to Emblisi beach, which is fairly close by.
