Kefalonia Fteri beach

General information

Fteri Beach is an impressive coast on the northern side of Kefalonia. It showcases crystal-clear waters of magnificent turquoise color and is covered by a combination of sand and white pebbles. There are no amenities on the beach, so visitors will not find any umbrellas or sun loungers, while natural shade is also scarce.

It has remained unspoiled and is usually not crowded, which is explained by the fact that it is quite hard to reach. There is a hiking trail of about one hour that is of moderate difficulty, but the descent to and ascension from the beach can be challenging. On the other hand, one can access the beach by boat or water taxi.
