Greece Canoeing

Greece Canoeing

The roots of caneoing are found in the native tribes of North America and mostly from the Eskimos. Today, this sports has become particularly popular and it needs good physical exercise to succeed in it. You can practice canoeing in Greece mainland and do see kayaking on the island of Milos island, in the Cyclades.

Spots and clubs

There are many organized areas to practice canoeing in Greece. The most common canoe boats in Greece are the two-paddled canoes. In Greece, conoeing can be practiced in Thessaly (Kremaston Lake and Plastira Lake), Thrace (Lyras Lake) and the Ionian Sea.
