All villages of Ikaria are traditional and untouched by tourism. With stone houses and paved streets, they either spread around a small bay or perch from the slopes of mountainsides. Agios Kirikos is the main village, while most popular resorts include Evdilos and Armenistis.

Description: This lovely fishing village has become the major tourist centre of Ikaria, but is still very authentic and has managed to keep its relaxed and traditional atmosphere.

Description: Marathos is a small village in the countryside of Ikaria, surrounded by lush greenery.

Description: The houses of this small village are scattered along the slopes of a hill. Plagia is surrounded by lush greenery and it is found on the way to Seychelles.
Location: 5 km east of Agios Kirikos
Description: The whitewashed houses with flowered balconies create a picturesque atmosphere. Traditional coffee shops, taverns and bakeries welcome visitors.
