Houses are simple and usually they have one or two floors. Roof tops are flat but few houses also have red tiles.
The balconies give nice view to the sea or the surrounding mountains and the small gardens have flowers and greenery.
The streets of the village are narrow and some of them are paved, too. Houses are built in close distance to each other and you will hear many people chating from their balconies. |

Along the portside, there are few fish taverns, cafeterias and a nice beach front to promenade.
These are the main characteristics of the other village of the complex, named Thimena and located a short boat ride from the port.
