Tilos has two main villages: Megalo Chorio, the capital, and Livadia, the port of the island, which is also the most tourist advanced area on the island. Mikro Horio was inhabited till the 1960sbut niw it is abandoned. The inhabitants of the island as a whole are more than 600.

Location: On the northern side of the island
Description: Megalo Chorio is the capital village of Tilos. It is built on the foot of a rocky mountain, which has a Medieval Castle on its top.

:: Mikro Chorio

Location: In the middle of the island
Description: Mikro Horio was once prosperous but in the 1960s it was gradually abandoned by its inhabitants. Today its buildings are ruined.

Description: Livadia is the main port of the island and the most organized tourist resort on Tilos.
