Tilos is a tiny island of the Aegean and pretty remote from the other Greek islands, so tourism has not developed much there. There are, of course, some facilities but do not expect luxurious accommodation, plenty of restaurants and wild beach bars.
Things go pretty quiet on Tilos. Activities concentrate on swimming in remote beaches and walking to enjoy pure nature. Tilos is also preferred by campers who find plenty of unorganized camping sites on this island.
Information about Tilos can be found through the various webisites on the Net and some travel guides. On the island, there are no tourism offices or a branch of the Greek National Tourism Organization. |
