Karpathos has some of the most beautiful beaches of Greece. Either sandy or pebbly with emerald or light-blue waters, they meet all tastes. Many of them, especially on the south-west coast, like Agios Nikolaos, are ideal for wind-surfing as the winds blowing in the area add to that effect.
