Trachea Beach Halki: On the southern side of Halki, you will find the impressive Trachea beach, which is actually a peninsula with a beach on each side, proper for swimming. The wild landscape of this peninsula amazes visitors and gives a perfect quiet chance to enjoy some view.
As Trachea forms tow small coves, it is sufficiently protected by the winds. Proper road stops at Chorio, the abandoned village which used to be the old capital of the island. From there, you have to walk about 20 minutes to reach Trachea. |
