The impressive building is nested between the hills of Naxian land, a few kilometers away from Sangri village. It is made of stone and features fortress details.

Markopolitis-Papadakis tower is a beautiful and imposing Venetian tower located in the upper part of the village of Halki.

Chimaros Tower can be considered the second historical trademark of Naxos, after Portara. It is around 15 meters tall with a well-preserved exterior.

The church of Panagia Protothrone (First Throne) is one of the earliest churches of transitional type and dates back to the first half of the 9th century. It lies in the village of Halki, Naxos.

The church of Panagia Mirtidiotissa is a lovely tiny chapel constructed on a small islet opposite the port.

The Olive Press Museum is hosted in a renovated olive press building in Egares village, which lies in the western part of the island.

The whitewashed orthodox church that features impressive marble pieces adorns the entrance of Apiranthos village.

The Geometrical Era Necropolis dates back to the 9th or 8th century BC. It is located near Halki, in the village of Tsikalario. Precious finds have been discovered there, which are exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of Naxos.

Panagia tis Spilias (the Holy Mary of the cave) is a church built in a cave and has quite an interesting story behind it.

The folklore museum of Koronos introduces visitors to the local life by exhibiting old everyday objects.

The Mycenaean Tomb on Naxos is considered a rare monument for the Cycladic region. It dates back to 1300 BC and is located in the Chosti region, close to Koronida (or Komiaki).

Panagia Argokoiliotissa is a 19th-century church dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was named after the area of Argokoili. The story behind its construction is very impressive.

The Monastery of Agios Ioannis Chryssostomos is located on the hill of Grotta. Its main church is a beautiful construction dating back to the 17th century. From the monastery, one can enjoy a charming panoramic view of the island and the sea.

Permanently closed. The Museum of Ancient Naxos is also known as the Metropolis on-site museum. It lies in Chora, next to the Orthodox church of Zoodochos Pigi. It contains exhibits from settlements on the island in the Mycenaean and Geometric Eras. The actual site is also open to visitors.

The islet of Panagia Parthena is located in front of Mikri Vigla beach. The name is due to the little chapel on the islet. The church opens only once a year on the day of its celebration.

At Korfari hill, above Panermos beach in the southern part of Naxos, excavations have brought to light a prehistoric acropolis whose remains are of outstanding importance.

The Natural History Museum of Apiranthos is located at the village's entrance. It was established in 1996 by a local non-profit society to research, observe, and record the ecosystem of Naxos and inform the public about it.
