Amorgos Nekrotafeio beach

General information

The beach of Nekrotafeio in Amorgos is spotted within a brief drive from Nera Village and the port of Katapola, and it features a gray sand-and-pebble shore, along with clear waters and plenty of small rocks inside the sea! It owes its name to the nearby cemetery of Xylokeratidi, as nekrotafeio is the Greek word for graveyard. Plus, its thin coast is well-protected due to the large surrounding rocks behind the beach!

Nekrotafeio is a non-organized beach destination since it has no facilities near the waters, and the nearest snack spot can be found about 600 meters away from the shore! In addition, the descending steps from the left-hand side of the coast make access to Nekrotafeio beach seem easy, and you may also spot the beautiful nearby church buildings before reaching the sea!
