Location: Syntagma

One of the most famous churches in the capital, Saint Paul's Anglican Church of Athens is the first foreign church in the city! Offering an English-speaking alternative to the Greek Orthodox churches, Saint Paul is operated by a set of noble believers, providing a sense of belonging for its followers and a home for those sidelined from society.

Boasting a large bell tower and an amazing Neo-gothic design that is unique in the area of Athens, the Saint Paul Anglican Church has gorgeous vitro stained-glass windows with illustrations of various saints! Another impressive sight is the fantastic pipe organ that has been installed since 1897!
Furthermore, there are some wooden benches for its visitors.

The church is best known for its quality acoustics, while it frequently hosts a plethora of cultural activities, most of which are free to the public! It is also common that the space is rented out to host a special event, including thrilling concerts, photography exhibitions, and fashion shows!

It is noteworthy that Saint Paul's Anglican Church hosts a yearly Christmas bazaar while being a helping hand to the poor and the homeless, offering about 800 food servings for the impoverished every day! Plus, it welcomes refugees and helps out unaccompanied migrant minors!
