General information

Fakistra Beach Pelion: Fakistra is a lovely turquoise bay with soft sand and some rocky spots. This wonderful place is surrounded by huge cliffs with dense vegetation and boasts an exotic and quite wild scenery. An interesting fact is that some scenes from the Hollywood movie Mamma Mia! were filmed here back in 2008.

    More like a family beach
    A picturesque cove with some uncomfortable rocks but crystal turquoise water! Fakistra is not a family beach but more like a beach for couples. A small protected cove surrounded by wild rocks and tall trees. A bit difficult to get down the narrow passage from the road but surprisingly it was too popular.
