Pioneer digital city: Trikala

On Trikala beats the heart of digital Greece. Our country is not on top of the European Union list regarding the internet, but this city on Thessalia seems much superior in the online services than many North Europeans. After providing all its citizens with free wireless Internet, it applies, among other, an online governing system, in which people “vote” the topics of the city council’s agenda and takes part in it, as well as other systems such as that of the medical observance of patients through the internet. The next step is to clear the offices from the papers, since as the major states, “it’s time for the electronic documents!”
