Aesthetic step-up of the Greek airports

The Greek Ministry of Transport and Communications together with the Ministry of Tourism Development and in cooperation with the Civil Aviation Authority and the Association of the Greek Tourist Enterprises has put into practice the aesthetic step-up of the country's airports. This initiative's goal is the improvement of the services provided both to the Greeks and the foreign travelers using the airports, especially in sight of the new tourist season. The completion of the works is going to contribute strong to the tourism development and the improvement of Greece's image. By now interventions have been done on the airports of Rhodes, Samos, Corfu, Heraklion and Chania, while included are also the airports of Zakynthos and Kefalonia islands. By the end of April, so stated the Minister of Transports Kostis Chatzidakis, the operation will be completed.
