48 Hour Film Project Go Green

• Category: News

After the very successful 48 Hour Film Project in Athens for two years in the row, in 2007 and 2008, this year, Francesco Vitali presents the 48 Hour Film Project Go Green! Participants in this festival have to create a short period movie, around 4-7 minutes, with their own scenario, direction, filming, montage and music and all these in 48 hours. Last year, the subject was given to the participants after a lottery, but this year the subject is ecologic and green. Along with the United Nations conference about the climatic changes, in Copenhagen in December 7th-12th, 2099, the 48 Hour Film Project Go Green will take place in Athens in December 11th-18th, 2009, giving the opportunity to the participants to present their thoughts and ideas about ecological problems and climatic changes. The 15 best movies will travel all over the world to similar 48 hours Film Festivals. The great reward for the winner is the participation in the Festival of Cannes 2010! All the incoming money from the event, will be given to the World Wildlife Fund Hellas, known as W.W.F. Hellas. The deadline for participation ends in December 4th, 2009. Good luck!
