Blind Guardian Live in Thessaloniki

After their highly-successful performance at the Release Athens Festival 2022, Blind Guardian is set to perform in the city of Thessaloniki on Sunday, October 8th, 2023, at the revered Principal Club Theater, as part of their The God Machine Tour of 2023!

The German power metal legends Blind Guardian are returning to Greece in order to present a unique experience to the city of Thessaloniki! Having a mass Greek following, most domestic fans of rock and metal music have sung their praises for decades, helping them rise to become one of the finest acts of metal music around the globe!

Blind Guardian rose to fame due to a handful of timeless albums (including 1992’s Somewhere Far Beyond and 1995’s Imaginations From The Other Side, seamlessly blending speed, power, and progressive metal influences! Tracks such as Sacred Worlds, Mirror Mirror, Nightfall, and the acoustic masterpiece The Bard’s Song create a juxtaposition between aggressive, orchestral music with symphonic elements and themes of mythic tales, traditional legends, and fantasy novels, like those of J.R.R. Tolkien!

The band’s frontman and founding member Hansi Kürsch, together with the rest of the group, will present their new full-length album (released on September 2nd, 2022, via Nuclear Blast Records) to Thessaloniki, alongside classic hits from their rich background catalog of over 35 years!
