Clochard over the years has earned righteously its title of a fine classic restaurant. Starting in 1979 it was very quickly acknowledged for its quality and became the favourite place of the business, political and cultural elite of our country.

Winning the "Toque d'Or" Prize every year in-a-row from 2008 till 2016, and many others abroad, is undoubtely a proof that is an excellent choice for those demanding in flavour and pleasure.

Our flavours

Clochard's kitchen balances between traditional, eastern and international modern cuisine. The elegant plates, made with fresh daily products and homemade recipes,that are prepared with fantasy and care, along with the rich and updated cava, are a consinstent part of the overall gastronomic experience and aside with the very high level of service make Clochard, an always excellent choice in the mind of connaisseurs.

The owner and host, Mr. Georgios Vasiloglou, is personally involved on a daily basis, with all the shopping of the products, making sure that they are always of top quality and day-fresh only.

Menu is mandated by the availability of the raw materials and the fresh ingredients of the season, and is revised at least once a year to include flavours of the Greek and international cuisine, using only the best possible ingredients of the highest quality. The extra-virgin olive oil is the only oil we are using.

The environment

In 2014, started a new era for the Clochard operating as a Bar and a Restaurant, with the help of the Architectural office of Mr. P. Makridis & Associates, who gave a new breath of renovation and fresh ideas, thru a modern design concept, combined with luxury, allowing it to bloom in its new role.

Low profiled and unfussy, Clochard remains the most known restaurant of the center of Thessaloniki, and offers a remarkable combination of modern lounge environment, discreet luxury and high level aesthetics.

Our available space and service can cover lunch or dinner of up to 80 persons.

Semi-private Dinner

In a recess of the restaurant's hall, right across the bar, a slightly isolated corner is formed, creating a warm space, ideal for private lunch or dinner for up to 10 persons. A wooden linear grid of beautiful, assymetric blinds is surrounding the area, while an impressively big old mirror, standing on the floor, is giving extra character to this corner.
