As Paxi is a small island but has few interesting festivals all year round.

Religious feasts & festivals

August 15th
On the 15th of August, a festival is held to honor the Holy Virgin. People attend the Mass in the Monastery of the Assumption of the Virgin in Gaios and afterward, there is dancing till the late hours.

February 10th
On the 10th of February, the locals celebrate the feast day of Agios Charalambos, the protector saint of Paxi.

July 20th
Prophet Elias is celebrated in Lakka on the 20th of July.

Cultural events

International Music Festival
The International Festival takes place annually, from late August to early September, in Loggos. It focuses on a more classical repertoire with the participation of Greek and International musicians.
