International Folklore Festival

The International Folklore Festival of Lefkada transforms also this year the island of Lefkada into a spectacular mixture of colors, costumes, languages and cultures from all over the world. Since its foundation in 1962, this institution promotes for 46 years the ideas of peace, friendship, solidarity of the world's nations through the folk art forms of music and dance.
The International Folklore Festival of Lefkada is the most ancient cultural institution in Greece in the domains of dance and music, as well as of the global cultural heritage and is worldwide renowned and awarded.
Folklore groups from Bulgaria, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Spain, Korea, South Africa, Holland, Ukraine, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Thailand, Turkey and Finland will be taking part to the festival.
