The Theatrical Library of Ithaca, in the Ionian: The Theatrical Library of the Municipality is situated in Vathy, the main port of Ithaca. The Theatrical Library of the Municipality houses many dramatic works. The surviving satirical and comic plays by Aristophanes are a treasure unmatched. Tragic plays by Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides have survived and are displayed in this library. Works by Menander who is considered to be the best of the writers of the New Comedy are also on display in this magnificent library.
