First Prize: Holiday in Mykonos

How to participate?
1. Log in your account in Greeka Community, or register first if you do not have an account.
2. Upload your photos by creating a new post.
You can upload as many photos as you want. Just submit your photo with a location and sub-location.
Note: We do not accept pictures by mail. All photos must have been uploaded in our Community to participate in the photo contest and must be related to Greece and the Greek islands.
How it works?
- A couple of weeks after the deadline (October 31st, 2023), members are asked to decide which of their photos they wish to participate (uploaded after November 1st, 2021). Selection is personal and can be based on preferences, comments or number of "likes". these pictures according to comments and ratings or they can just select their favorite pictures among all photos that and after.
- Then, the team of Greeka.com will choose the top 100 among all those selected photos.
- After that, an invitation will be sent to all members in order to "vote" for the top photos among the list of 100.
- The final top 20 photos will be based on the number of votes.
This year, all members can vote, therefore, you can inform your friends and familly to like your photo, if it has been selected in top 100.
The results of our Photo Contest are announced around Christmas every year.

The theme of our photo contest is, of course, Greece and the Greek Islands.
Deadline
You can upload your photos until October 31st, 2023. Any photo uploaded after this date will take part in next year's contest.
Participants
Everybody can participate in the Greece Photo contest, it is free. All you need is to register in Greeka Community. Registration is free. You can register from our community or any other page of Greeka. You do not need to be a professional or expert photographer to take part! All chances are given equally!
What kind of photos to upload
All kind of photos: from landscapes and portraits to black and white. We will not accept photo compositions (patchwork) made with photo editors. But you can edit your photos as for levels, saturation, HDR, etc
Why are you organizing an annual contest?
Just for fun! We think it is very interesting to share holiday photos and show Greece from the visitor's point of view.
Terms and conditions
- - After the contest ends, members will be asked to choose which photos they want to participate, among all the photos that they uploaded this year. They can choose these photos with various criteria, for example depending on which photos had most likes or comments, which are their favorite or which photos may have most possibilities to win. After that, the team of Greeka.com will choose the top 100 among the selected photos of the members. Then, a mail will be sent to members to vote their favorite among the top 100 photos that Greeka selected.
This year, all members can vote, therefore, you can inform your friends and familly to like your photo, if it has been selected in top 100. - - There are no limited or maximum submissions. You can upload as many photos as you wish.
- - Do not watermark or place any other distinguishing mark (i.e. name, copyright) on the photo, unless this mark is really small.
- - Each member can receive a single award.
- - You must be the copyright holder of the photograph in order to take part in the contest.
- - Uploading photos in our website do not mean that you lose the copyright. You are always the copyright holder of the photo. Greeka can use the photos uploaded in the member's section for no other reason than promoting this photo contest in newsletters or social media, but still, it will be evident that this photo belongs to the member who uploaded it.
- - Last minute rules and restrictions may come up without prior notice if we think it is necessary.
- - Greeka.com takes care of all the details as for making the hotel reservation for the winner and booking the ferry tickets. Once a booking is confirmed, there can be no cancellations or changes.
