General information

Laerma in Rhodes, Dodecanese: The small traditional village is located at the centre of the island, about 58 km southwest of the town. It is built on the slopes of a hill and with numerous well preserved old houses many of which have accentuated their beauty. Visitors can find accommodations in the neighboring tourist resorts of Lindos while there are numerous taverns and restaurants serving delicious food.

At a short distance about 4 km southwest is a Byzantine Monastery built amidst impressive greenery surrounding with great hagiographies that date back to 17th century. The village is accessible through a wonderful route of Lardos and Lindos.

Such a beautiful quaint little village…. The people are friendly and always happy to help or serve and greet you with their smile… simplistic lifestyle tendering to their olive groves or vege patches or animals. It’s simple it’s quiet and we love stopping in at their local hang out ‘Platonas’ … it’s a must to see the untouched beauty of this village.
