Ollie Taylor is a photographer specializing in landscape, travel photography and astrophotography, organizing workshops all around the globe, including in Santorini. He lived in Greece for a few years and has spent a lot of time on the island, so he knows the best spots to take breathtaking photos as well as the history and culture, which he is more than happy to share.
This five-day workshop takes participants around awe-inspiring locations on the island, both during the day and at nighttime. It focuses on landscape, nightscape and astrophotography, and constitutes one of the photographer's more laid-back and easy-to-follow workshops, so no specific level of expertise is required. Participants have the chance to photograph the most iconic landmarks of Santorini while also exploring some lesser-known but equally beautiful areas.
It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part, with many photoshoots included. In addition, one or two post-production sessions take place, where editing techniques and planning are taught. A laptop and editing software (e.g Photoshop, Lightroom) will be helpful in following along with the demonstration, but taking notes is also an alternative.
The workshop includes single-room accommodation in a remote area with easy access to Oia and transportation around the island.
Pick-up and drop-off at the airport or a hotel can be scheduled, too.
Each participating group consists of five photographers of any experience level.
