Superyacht drifting out to sea

• Category: News

The superyacht finds it difficult to sail in anchor anyways, but when the captain did not put enough chain in 35 knots of wind on Sunday in Mykonos, the yacht lost complete control.
With nobody on deck, the superyacht was first drifting out to sea at a great speed due to high wind. Subsequently, as she was anchored inadvertently right next to a considerably smaller sailing yacht, she sailed right into the sailing yacht, still with none on deck.
Onlookers looked on helplessly, but in fascinated horror, as the crew of the sailing yacht shout over the wind, run for fenders and collect the entire crew on deck. Just before collision, it was discovered that there were people on the bigger motoryacht. Unfortunately, it was too late by then.
