Each year Mykonos celebrates the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross to
the small church of Stavros, which is located near the airport of the island.
During the Divine Liturgy, the priest blesses the seeds that the pilgrims have brought in sacks, for good sowing. After that, the feast starts with a lot of food and traditional music.
