Alternative Tourism Conference

The Pan-Hellenic Conference on the Alternative Tourism and the environment management in small and island areas is taking place on Milos, Cyclades.
The Cyclades Development Company, along with the Greek Tourism Organization and the Hotel Chamber of Greece are organizing a Pan-Hellenic Conference titled Alternative tourism and the environment management in small or/and island areas.
The Conference will take place on the island of Milos, Cyclades, at the Georgios Iliopoulos Conference Center from October 2-4, 2008.
The official language of the Conference is Greek. It will focus on the development of ecotourism through the utilization of natural resources, though on such terms and conditions, so that the ecological balance of the region is not insulted. Moreover, it is going to search the potentials and the chances of ecotourism development, as well as of other (mild or alternative) types of tourism in small or/and island areas.
