3rd Antiparos Photo Festival

The 3rd Antiparos Photo Festival is taking place from July 4th to 13th, 2015. This is a nice initiative organized by people who feel that they must give something back to the island they love and strengthen its cultural identity. Although Antiparos has grown in tourist industry since the 1960s, it has still managed to remain untouched by mass tourism and keep its local character.
Greek and foreign, professionals and semi-professional photographers take part in this photo festival. The exhibition takes place indoors or outdoors in the streets of Kastro. All income from selling the photo exhibits and from workshops is donated to the local community, usually the local school.
