Festival of Agia Paraskevi

One of the biggest events in Cyclades is taking place in Amorgos and you’re going to love it!
On the 26th of July, in Kato Mera village, people gather to listen to the traditional music, dance all night and taste local food and wine.
About 3,000 people participate in the Festival of Agia Paraskevi every year. Its main characteristic, though, is the volunteer work of the locals. They are responsible for the delicious food that is served in large portions, as well as for the freshly baked bread.
Once at the festival, don’t miss to try some famous local delicacies like "patatato" and "kofto" and, of course, to taste the local wine.
