Casa dei Mezzo Music Festival 2014

The 11th Casa dei Mezzo Music Festival, this well-respected summer music festival in Markigialos Crete, takes place from June 26th to 30th this year. A charming village on the south eastern side of Crete, Makrigialos is once again about to host some of the most famous classical musicians and signers in the world. Local Greek musicians will also be represented in the festival, making it attractive to everyone.
The driving force of this annual music celebration is Gunnar Stromsholm and all performances take place at his house, on a hill above Makrigialos. Seventeen musicians and signers from eight countries, including the UK, Sweden, Norway, Israel, Germany, Greece, Denmark and FYROM, are presenting favourite classical compositions as well as special compositions written only for the Casa dei Mezzo Festival. There will be lunchtime and evening concerts, while on the last day there is a Grand Gala Closing Concert.
